We are overjoyed with the ministry opportunities that God has placed before us and are truly thankful for you and your dedication to changing a generation one life at a time. Through donor support, it enables us to go deeper into hearts of our neighbors as they go through a physical and spiritual transformation toward a Christ-filled life.

One example is with our Prison/Jail Ministry & Transitional Homes Ministry. Jessica who we met in the Morgan County Jail and completed our transitional home program shares about her journey:

"Today, I am not the person I used to be. Not because of me, but because God chose to rescue me out of more than 20 years in active addiction. I have lived in the darkness and loved the darkness, causing pain and suffering for all who knew me. Arrest, rehab, overdose, repeat. This was the pattern I couldn't escape. It wasn't until God showed me what would truly make me satisfied – freedom found only in relationship with Him. Relying on God is where my strength comes from. He is restoring everything lost and broken. I have my family back. I have my son back. I have my sanity back. My freedom is found in my fight. If it was easy I wouldn't appreciate the gifts He gives in the process. Every day He gives me everything I need to fight. He has rescued me. He makes us free."

The NCC seeks to meet the needs of those in our community; targeting families and individuals who are caught in the cycle of poverty; walking along side them to help provide avenues to break this cycle through emergency assistance (food/clothing/financial help), programs and education (financial, relationship counseling, jobs training, youth programs, etc), and through building relationships with the community we serve.
